Obsessive-compulsive disorders

A type of anxiety disorder characterized by recurrent obsession. persistent, intrussive ideas, thoughts, impulses or images, or compulsions (repetitive, purposeful, and intentional behaviourperformed in response o an obsession) sufficiently severe to cause marked distress, be time consuming, or to significantly interfere with the indivisual`s normal routine, occupational functioning, or usual social activities or relation ship with others.
