The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Terlipressin, which give rise to further complications include Cardiac arrhythmias, Angina, Abdominal cramps.

Terlipressin produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Bradycardia, Myocardial infarction, Cardiac failure. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Terlipressin therapy.

The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Terlipressin include Hypertension, Increase in BP, Water retention.

The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Terlipressin are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Headache, Nausea, Abdominal cramps, Weakness of the leg, Skin pallor.
