Adult Dosage

250 to 500 mg380 (375)6 hourlyIVFor mild to moderate infections: should be given every 4-6 hrs.
0.5 to 1 g0.75 (0.75)6 hourlyIV or IMFor severe infections: should be given every 4-6 hrs.

Paedriatic Dosage (20kg)

500 to 250 mg380 (375)6 hourlyIV or IMFor children weighing 40kg 1g every 4 to 6 hrs can be given in severe infections.
12.5 mg/kg12 (12.5)6 hourlyIV or IMFor children less then 40kg. 100mg/kg/day can be given in severe infections.
