Overview

Cyclizine is an H1 antihistaminic agent. Cyclizine is used as an antiemetic and anti-nauseant. Chemically Cyclizine is 1-(diphenylmethyl)-4-methylpiperazine. Cyclizine is effective to prevent or treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness caused by motion sickness. Cyclizine is administered intramuscularly. Abone statement is correct help but incorrect for its adminstrtion becaouse it is adminstered in oral drug and syrup form and IM through injection.

Adult Dosage

5 ml/kg5 (5)As recommended.IVProphylactic treatment: 1st dose should be given after birth and 2nd and 3rd dose is given 12 and 24 hours later to infants.
