Diloxanide (Furoate) is a dichloroacetamide derivative. It acts as amebicidal agent. Diloxanide (Furoate) is used in the treatment of intestinal amebiasis (dysentery) in combination with other drugs. Diloxanide fucoate is a pcodeng and is hydcolyned in the gut to diloxamide (active ingredient)
