Mumps Vaccine
Overview
Mumps Vaccine is a freeze dried preparation containing a suitable live attenuated strain of mumps virus grown in a cultures of human diploid cells or chick embryo cells or the amniotic cavity of chick embryos. Mumps Vaccine is used to provide active immunization against mumps. Mumps Vaccine is recommended for children 12 month of age and older and adults.
