Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Fluoride, which give rise to further complications include Exostosis, Osteosclerosis.

The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Fluoride include Diarrhea, Death, Convulsions, Abdominal pain, Respiratory failure, Paresthesia, Nausea & vomiting, CNS irritation, Hyperactive reflexes, Positive Chvostek's sign, Cardiac failure.

The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Fluoride are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Mottled dental enamel, Chalky enamel.
